4th of July festivals??
Last year we went with my mom to Mount Prospect (where she grew up). I've been there every other year or so since I was little, and it's nothing special. I used to go to Hoffman Estates' fest too, which sucks.

Where does everyone go for 4th of July fireworks?!? DECENT fireworks!! Bloomingdale's "Family Fest" is next weekend and they have the BEST fireworks I've ever seen ..... but for the 4th ... ??

I'm writing my own fireworks show.. sitting in front of the TV watching all the cool fireworks! 'm launching bazillions of them!

itasca is definitely the best around the northwest, been there many times. very easy to park on the south side of thorndale on the streets where the town houses are and just walk across the street. bring a bottle of buze and its a great time.

Ill be at Bartlett most likely. Their fireworks are pretty good.
As far as the best fireworks I think are Glendale Heights. That's after the 4th though. Anyone i've brought there rants and raves about it.
